Bill Gaither leads the Gaither Homecoming artists in a Christmas sing-along during one of the Christmas Homecoming concert events.

Alexandria, IN - Throughout the past few weeks, Bill and Gloria Gaither, as well as many of the Gaither Homecoming artists, delighted Gospel music lovers in cities nationwide with Gaither Homecoming Christmas Tour. The Tour, which featured the Gaither Vocal Band, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Gordon Mote, Jeff & Sheri Easter, Kevin Williams, Ben Speer, Russ Taff, The Isaacs, Lynda Randle, Ivan Parker, Reggie & Ladye Love Smith and Mark Lowry, made stops in eight cities throughout the first two weeks of December. Tour stops included Mobile, AL, Houston, TX, Lubbock, TX, Muncie, IN, St Louis, MO, Lexington, KY, Richmond, VA, and Columbus, OH, where the Homecoming Friends performed to more than 51,000 people throughout the eight dates. “We have been doing the Christmas tour for 10 years now,” Gaither stated at the conclusion of the final date in Columbus on Saturday, December 15. “It's hard to think every year the tour seemingly gets better, but I must say, I believe we just had our best year yet, and we are definitely looking foward to next year and all the exciting things we believe the year will bring.”

Following a month-long hiatus, the 2008 Gaither Homecoming Tour kicks off in Janaury, with three stops in Florida.
