Hendersonville, Tenn (Feb. 29, 2008) – Daywind recording artist, Gerald Wolfe (Greater Vision), recently garnered the highly acclaimed Dove nomination for Male Vocalist of the Year. Wolfe is named alongside major label artists across various genres in Christian music.

Gerald Wolfe began his music career years ago at a very young age. He traveled with many music icons including the legendary Cathedrals. His talent as a vocalist has brought audiences to their feet by the thousands. He has received many awards for his notable abilities both in the vocal and instrumental arena, as a pianist. This is the first individual Dove nomination for Wolfe.

Daywind Records’ president, Ed Leonard, shares, "Gerald Wolfe has often been honored by the Southern Gospel community as their top male vocalist. It is a thrill to see him recognized as one of the top vocalists in all of Christian music. Well done, Gerald!"

“I was surprised to learn of my nomination in the Male Vocalist category in this year's Dove Awards,” says Wolfe. “To be in the company of these other nominees is a great honor, to say the least.”

Greater Vision appears regularly with Dr. Charles Stanley (In Touch Ministries), on Gaither Homecoming videos, and more. Their highly successful ministry is just entering it 18th year. Wolfe has been performing for 27 years.
