NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Prophets Quartet are proud to announce the addition of legendary pianist, producer, and industry leader Eddie Crook to the group. Crook will be assuming the role of pianist as well as assisting in administrative duties for the group.

The newly reconfigured Prophets Quartet has been revived by Southern Gospel legend Ed Hill and also features the talents of veteran Bill Baize, Gaither Homecoming favorite Mike Allen, and newcomer/songwriter Paul Jackson.

Eddie Crook commented, “I've known Ed Hill for 47 years or more and am honored to be a part of the return of The Prophets. These voices sound amazing together, they just needed a good piano player!"

“We are so excited about Eddie joining The Prophets,” mentioned Ed Hill. “He’s been a big part of this industry for many years.”

In addition, Eddie will be adding his talents in the studio as well. Riverbend Media is currently putting the finishing touches on the group’s debut release featuring classic Prophets’ tunes as well as brand new songs.

More information regarding the new album will be released in the coming weeks.

More information on the newly revived quartet will be available at http://www.prophetsquartet.com. Until then, fans can keep up with the happenings of the group on Paul Jackson’s blog, located http://www.pauljacksongroup.com/blog/.
