HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Popular Southern Gospel trio The Glovers have just renewed their contract with Southern Spin Entertainment. The group has signed on for another year of exclusive publicity from Southern Spin Entertainment. The Glovers will continue to have access to all media publications serviced by Southern Spin Entertainment, as well as marketing possibilities with the organization.
Adam Glover of The Glovers said, “SSE has been a vital part of our ministry over the last couple of years. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to expand their ministry.”
“We’ve been working with The Glovers for many years, and we have grown to love them more and more as each year passes,” mentioned Amy Marie Unthank of SSE Group, Inc. “You won’t find a group that has a bigger heart for ministry than The Glovers.”
The Glovers recently released their latest recording – One Good Reason. The album features special background vocals from Joyce Martin Sanders (The Martins) and Mitchel Jon. The album features new songs by some of Southern Gospel’s most popular songwriters such as Chris Binion, Zane King, Kevin Ward, Jerry Salley, Gerald Crabb, Del Way (who penned the Glovers’ breakout hit “Hurtin’ People”), Brent Lamb, Eric Horner, and more. Also, Kathy Glover co-wrote two songs for the project – “Hidden Secrets” (co-written with Chris Binion) and “Saving My Life” (co-written with Zane King). Both of the songs deal with Kathy’s personal testimony and ministry surrounding abortion.
The Glovers’ first single from the album was the title cut “One Good Reason.” The group is anticipating the release of their next single – “Mercy Came Down”. That song can be found on the new Family Music Group Compilation – Vol. 45, Cut #1.
Earlier this year, the Glovers expanded their ministry to include speaking engagements at not only men’s, women's and couple's events, but specifically to Pregnancy Crisis Center events across the country. The Glover's offer a unique experience by tying their songs such as, "Hurtin People," "Hidden Secrets," and "Saving My Life" (specifically about abortion) in with their speaking engagements to lift individuals (especially in the church) out of their darkness and into the healing hands of Jesus.
