President of TS-Promotions, Theresa Dillard and husband, Robert Dillard welcome their first child, Calvin (Cal) Robert Dillard. Born on August 27, 2008, at Nashville Baptist Hospital, Cal weighed in at 8 lbs. and 10 oz. and is 20 inches long.

Group Gearing Up For An Exciting Week During the National Quartet Convention
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vine Records recording artist HisSong will be the special guest on Fox Morning News in Louisville, Kentucky on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 6:00 a.m. EST during next week’s National Quartet Convention.

HUNTLAND, Tenn. – Zion Music Group recording artist The Gardners will be hosting their annual Gospel Music Fest this month. The exciting event will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Huntland City Park in Huntland, Tennessee. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m.
This year’s Gospel Music Fest promises to be one of the best. In addition to The Gardners, Gospel Music Fest will feature performances from national recording artists the Fox Brothers and Sunday Edition.

All proceeds from Gospel Music Fest will benefit Huntland High School’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes. HOMEWOOD, Ill. – Eddie Crook Company and MorningStar Records recording artist Rod Burton announced today that plans for the Angelic Showcase during the National Quartet Convention are all wrapped up. The showcase will run Tuesday through Friday in the Label room of the Executive Inn in Louisville, Kentucky next week. The showcase will feature more than 60 artists from all over the country in what is being billed as a premier showcase event.
“We've got so many great artists to be a part of the showcase this year, including The Keatons (formerly The Dan Keaton Quartet), Eighth Day, Jackson and Scroggs and a host of others,” added Rod Burton, this year’s emcee and a performer as well. “We're very excited to be able to bring so many great artists together for an event that is free and open to the public. Just show up, and you'll be blessed beyond measure!”
This is the 2nd Annual Angelic Showcase, which this year expands from two days to four days. The showcase is owned and managed by Angelic Talent, and is sponsored this year by The Gospel Music Times, Southern Gospel Reporter, SGMRadio.com, Southern Gospel Glow, Revival Wind Music and Emcee Pro.
In addition to a great week of Gospel Music, this years event also feature the 1st ever Soloist Spotlight Showcase at NQC. The Soloist Spotlight will take place Friday morning from 9:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m. in the Label room of the Executive Inn, and it will feature some great regional solo artists. In addition there will be special performances by Rod Burton, Kenny Bishop, Chris Unthank and Sharron Kay King.
The Soloist Spotlight will also feature a panel made up of industry leaders and artists that will offer constructive review and feedback to each of the solo artists. The goal is to give perspectives on the individual’s performance in a way that will allow them to grow as artists and as ministers.
Rod Burton added, "Being a soloist in Southern Gospel can be a challenge at times. But with some really great soloists that are in the field today, it's becoming more and more accepted. These folks have a ministry and a desire to share Jesus with everyone they can. Helping them to grow that ministry with input from some of the best known folks in the business is a real treat for me.”

Nearly six years after news of their retirement, N'Harmony returns to the stage. Original lead singer and founder Shane Dunlap states, "I have been thinking about a return for along time, but I wanted to find the right guys with the same exact goals." Joining Shane (N'Harmony and Signature Sound) is Tenor Brent Mitchell (Mercy's Mark), Baritone Chris Whitaker (Won by One and Crystal River), and Bass Will Van Wyngarden (Journeymen Qt.). The Nelons from Atlanta, GA have announced that they are “back on the road”. For the past 5 years Jason, Kelly and Amber have served on staff at Grace Baptist Church limiting them to a much-scaled down touring schedule. They have recently decided to once again engage in a fulltime music evangelistic ministry. Kelly states, “we’ve had a wonderful time helping to build a music ministry at our home church but we are so excited to be traveling and singing once again and have missed seeing our friends across the country and look forward to the opportunities ahead and carrying on the musical heritage that my father (Rex Nelon) began over 30 years ago”.

Shannon Bunch will release his 8th recording, My Sunday Best, September 6.. The recording was produced by Brian Eckert of Verge Studio (Nashville, TN) and Shannon. This 10 song album was inspired by Shannon’s concert “request segments”.

Jubilee Music Artists announced today the pending release of a new instrumental CD by legendary southern gospel pianist, Eddie Crook. Mr. Crook is well known from his days with the Tennesseans, Happy Goodmans and the Sego Bros. and Naomi. He is currently the pianist for the Prophets Quartet as well as a solo artist. This latest project entitled, Wonderful Grace, features classic hymns: “O Come Angel Band”, “Sweet Hour of Prayer” and many other favorites. Release date for this project is September 02, 2008.
